Vampire Diaries focuses on the conflict between two vampire brothers, captive to the same gorgeous girl, who are trying to control the fate of an entire town. As a result of Katherine Pierce’s arrival, the love triangle between Stefan, Elena, and Damon was put in jeopardy, and the other residents of Mystic Falls had to choose sides, as they came under attack from an entirely new breed of threat. After Damon and Stefan were then encountered by Klaus and Elijah, two Original vampires, they faced their greatest challenge yet. As we learn more about Klaus and the Original Family in Season three, we also come to understand his reasons for wanting Stefan to be on his side. As Stefan sinks deeper into the dark side, Elena and Damon struggle with the guilt of their growing relationship, even as they work together to bring Stefan back from the edge.

After returning to life by Bonnie Bennett’s (series star KAT GRAHAM) magic, Jeremy Gilbert (series star STEVEN R. MCQUEEN) works as a server at the Mystic Grill along with Matt Donovan (recurring guest star ZACH ROERIG). The two are trying to figure out why Jeremy continually sees the ghosts of Vicki (recurring guest star KAYLA EWELL) and Anna (recurring guest star MALESE JOW).
